Judicial Separation is a choice to divorce, through which both the parties to a marriage are offered time to determine their issues and put forth attempts to spare their bombed marriage by living independently or separately.

Judicial separation doesn’t remove the legal status of a marriage.

The arrangement has been received by the Indian legislature since marriage is considered as a ‘sacrament’ under Hindu Law and it is the obligation of the Court to forestall the breakdown of such an association.
