By admin OnThe Domestic Violence Act, 2005, upholds the entire scope of domestic violence cases and provides legislation protecting the rights & dignity of the victim.
Domestic violence and dowry deaths are pervasive in India. And I mean, it’s around us.
As a whole, we know about individuals in our families or among our companions who have eventually confronted domestic violence or have executed it.
Be that as it may, how regularly have we turned away and done nothing since we don’t have a clue what to do?
There are three laws set up in India that manage domestic violence:
- The Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005.
- The Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. And
- Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code.
